The 6 W’s: Who, what, where, when, why and what of it …

Today’s Gospel: The tone on the trading floor is more … defensive and … negative as the market continues rolling through the week. Although Greece and euro have been the … big news focus, traders are not even considering the RegMed universe … an anemia issue! The problem is most think … an “orderly decline” in equities, macro view> would be healthy for the market following a strong rally since last October.

Mid-Day: The NASDAQ is Down -15.04 (-0.51%) to 2,933.53 while the Dow is also DOWN -45.37 (-0.35%) to 12,920.32.

Mid-Day Market Commentary: Stocks are turning in a lackluster performance in mid-day trading on Wednesday … amid uncertainty about the near-term outlook for the markets. The major averages are lingering near the unchanged line and are posting modest losses, off their lows for the mid-day session. The choppy trading comes as traders seem reluctant to make any significant moves following the recent strength in the markets.

Who is UP … Mid-Day:

  • Aastrom (ASTM);
  • Athersys (ATHX);
  • Cytomedix (OTC BB: CMXI);
  • Geron (GERN);
  • International Stem Cell (OTC BB: ISCO);
  • NeoStem (Amex: NBS);
  • Opexa (OPXA);
  • Pluristem (PSTI);
  • Tengion (TNGN);
  • ThermoGenesis (KOOL);
  • Verastem (VSTM).

What’s new in the regenerative medicine/stem cell market … things to know today … NOTHING …
