Cancana Resources Corp. (CVE:CNY)  and joint venture partner Ferrometals BV, have received a 4,500 tonne sales order of high grade manganese mineral product.

The order from an unnamed ferro-manganese client in Brazil is for product with a minimum grade of 50%, and is scheduled to be delivered during the second quarter of 2016, the company said.

This purchase is on top of the sales order of 7,500 tonnes announced in January, which is planned to be fully delivered by the end of April.

Anthony Julien, President & chief executive, said: “Our aim has been to establish a secure supply of high grade ore for Brazilian customers, then scale to a global market.

“This sale represents confidence in our exploration programme to meet domestic customer's orders for high quality, high purity manganese and our operational expertise to deliver a consistent and reliable supply.”
