Rambler Metals sees steady production at Ming

Rambler Metals and Mining PLC (LON:RMM CVE:RAB) saw steady production from its Ming mine in Newfoundland in its latest (third) quarter.

Predominately a copper mine, Ming produced 4,530 tonnes of concentrate in the three months to April, which was 25% more than the previous quarter but down on the first.

That translated into 1,222 tonnes of copper metal; 2,037 ounces of gold and 13,407 ounces of silver.

At 56,695 tonnes, the amounts milled of were down slightly on the second quarter but grades picked up.

Norman Williams, chief executive, said: "We continue to see improvement each quarter for the production of copper, gold and silver from the operation.

"The first year of the expansion plan is underway with development into the LFZ continuing, alongside steady production from the high grade massive sulphides.”
