BT Group and Nortel Sign New Four Year Global Trading Agreement

18th May 2009, 2:09 pm BT Group (LSE: BT.A) and Nortel Networks (TSX: NT) announced a new four year global trading agreement, extending a 15 year relationship where Nortel supplies enterprise equipment and services including its convergence portfolio, to BT Group for its UK voice applications.

“The agreement will provide customers with solutions that give them a competitive edge. With technology and skills derived from extensive carrier and enterprise solution portfolios, Nortel and BT can address customers' needs whether it be voice, contact centres, routing, LANs or VPNs,” Nortel stated.
