As Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone mania eases, and US futures are pointing to a lower start, several stocks are on the move in pre-market deals.
American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL) is one of them and shares flew lower after hours and may well continue the descent today as it lowered its current-quarter outlook for revenue per available seat mile.
This was largely to hurricane-related cancellations as well as higher fuel costs.
Shares lost 0.09% to $46.25 after the bell.
Elsewhere, Allergen plc (NYSE:AGN) shares added 0.34% to $232 as it was accused by peer Mylan of taking advantage of Native American sovereignty to avoid patent challenges for its eye treatment Restasis.
Allergan recently struck a deal to transfer the rights to Restasis to a Native American which Allergen believes would shield the patent from possible review.
Elsewhere, Centene Corp (NYSE:CNC) saw shares add 5.58% after hours to $95.95 as it emerged that the firm will buy not-for-profit health insurer Fidelis Car for $3.75bn.
This deal means the group expands its involvement in government sponsored health-care coverage.
Last but not least, Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) the movie giant will disappoint millions of Star Wars fans today, saying the release of the next instalment will be delayed by seven months.
Shares gained 0.21% to stand at $98.10 after hours.
