Tango Mining Ltd sells 76 diamonds from Oena mine at US$1,329 per carat

Tango Mining Ltd (CVE:TGV) said it has sold a total of 76 diamonds or 107.11 carats from its Oena mine in South Africa for an “exceptional” average price of US$1,329 per carat.

The diamonds were produced from 19 January 2018 to 14 February 2018 and were placed on tender in Kimberley.

In a statement, the company said the three highest-value diamonds recovered during the period included a 10.92-carat diamond which sold at US$3,800 per carat, a 2.23-carat diamond which sold at US$3,650 per carat and a 5.45-carat diamond which sold at US$2,731 per carat.

Diamond production from Oena, since its acquisition, including production from both tailings and ROM, now totals 1,501 carats that have been sold at an average price of US$1,180 per carat.
