Applied DNA Sciences provides authentication technology that protects products from theft and counterfeiting

Security and authentication technology group Applied DNA Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:APDN) is introducing an additional system to tag larger volumes of cannabis and hemp for security purposes.

The Stony Brook, NY, company’s new design for larger operations will offer growers an efficient way to tag batches of cannabis or hemp.

A grow facility’s dry or staging rooms can be fitted with the company’s moveable and expandable POD tagging systems. The cannabis or hemp in the room for staging or drying can quickly be tagged without slowing down operations during harvest.
