WebTech lands order for 500 locators for Vodafone Ghana, eyes African market

Wireless services provider WebTech Wireless Inc (TSX: WEW) said today Bridge Security ordered 500 of its locators for its customer Vodafone Ghana, the country’s leading communications solutions provider.
WebTech’s in-vehicle WT5000 Locator devices help cut operating costs by allowing fleet operators to manage their fleets and drivers remotely.
WebTech was delighted to tap into one of the key markets for its products by landing this deal.
“With proven reliability of our products even in harsh environmental conditions, we believe that regions of Africa, like Ghana, are ideal markets for our products, and working with companies like Bridge Security and Vodafone will allow us to establish a presence early on,” said Senior Director of WebTech Wireless’ Personal Automotive and OEM business units.
