Apella Resources announces new board appointment
Apella Resources (CVE:APA), (OTCQX:APAFF) said Friday it has appointed Dr. Christian G. Derosier to its board of directors, whose expertise is expected to help in the development of the company's vanadium-iron-titanium assets in Quebec.
Dr. Derosier has more than 40 years of exploration and mining experience, and has headed up exploration programs in such countries as Canada, USA, Columbia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, China, Belgium, and countless others.
He has participated in the discovery of a two million ton copper deposit near Chibougamau, Quebec which was being placed into production by neighboring Campbell Mines. Apella currently controls key exploration claims adjoining this deposit.
Dr. Derosier’s past involvement with Apella includes holding the position of VP of exploration– responsible for the exploration and development of the Lac Dore, Lac Dore North, Iron-T and Game Changer Vanadium-Iron-Titanium projects.
Over his career, his experience includes managing exploration and prospecting programs, carrying out Economic Impact Studies, arranging mining financings, supervising extensive drill programs, evaluating mineral deposits and producing mines and compiling inventories of resources and reserves.
Dr. Derosier has served as a director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and as both a VP and a president of the Quebec Prospectors Association.

Apella said that Mr. Robert Collette, a director of the company since November 2010, has relinquished his position on the board to allow the appointment of Dr. Christian Derosier.
