Mantra Venture Group’s ERC Technology Receives ‘Overwhelming Support’ in Korea

In a statement today, Mantra Venture Group (OTCBB: MVTG) has reported ‘overwhelming support’ in Korea for its carbon recycling technology. Mantra Executives have been conducting a series of business development meetings in Seoul ahead of ENTECH 2009, which is Korea's largest tradeshow focused on energy and environment.

The meetings with Korean Government officials and prospective industry partners have reportedly opened the potential for Mantra to ‘fast track’ their ERC (Electrochemical Reduction of Carbon Dioxide) technology.
The ERC technology combines captured carbon dioxide with water to produce high value materials, such as formic acid and formate salts.
In this morning’s statement Mantra CEO, Larry Kristof commented on the encouraging start to what could be a productive development trip to Korea, one of the world’s key centres for emerging technologies, Mr Kristof stated;
"While we are still only in the early stages of our trip, a number of proposed financing opportunities and development partnerships came to the surface during our initial meetings. Each of these proposals would considerably fast track Mantra's ERC technology if finalized, and we will further evaluate these opportunities in the coming days."
