Rodinia Lithium (CVE:RM) (OTCQX:RDNAF) said Thursday that it has started the construction and operation of a pilot production facility at its Salar de Diablillos lithium brine project in Salta Province, Argentina.
The purpose of the pilot production facility is to confirm the proposed process outlined in the recent preliminary economic assessment for the project, with results to be included into a feasibility study.
Sama Resources (CVE:SME) Thursday unveiled assay results for mineralized intersections of 11 holes drilled in October and November 2011 at its Samapleu project in Cote d'Ivoire, Africa.

Selwyn Resources (CVE:SWN) said Thursday it has purchased 273.43 acres of surface rights to the west of the current Main Pit at its ScoZinc mine in Nova Scotia.
These lands cover the proposed southwest expansion area of the Main Pit, for inclusion of the updated mineral resources announced in April last year.
With the purchase of the surface rights, the company can complete its application for the Industrial Authorization to expand the Main Pit, based upon the recent approval of Nova Scotia Environment.

The company said the well encountered a gross hydrocarbon-bearing interval of approximately 800 metres containing numerous sandstones, each in the range of 2-13 metres thick, in the Lower Bakhtiari and Upper Fars Formations.
Caza Oil & Gas (CVE:CAZ)(LON:CAZA) today told investors it is putting its controlling stake in the San Jacinto property in Texas up for sale.
It said that recent operations on the property were a success and the Caza Elkins 3401 and 3402 wells are both performing as expected.

Southern Arc Minerals (CVE:SA) (OTCQX:SOACF) unveiled Thursday phase one drilling results from the Bising target at the Mencanggah prospect on its West Lombok property in Indonesia.
Highlights of results include hole MCG028, which intersected 51.3 metres at 1.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 35.6 metres, including 5.1 metres at 3.5 g/t gold from 53.4 metres and 3.8 metres of 4.9 g/t gold from 60.2 metres.
