Freegold Ventures starts Phase 2 drillling at Golden Summit
Freegold Ventures (TSX: ITF) announced a 40,000 foot, Phase 2 drilling program on the Golden Summit project near Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Phase 2 drilling program is designed to test and delineate multiple expansion targets identified in last year's drilling campaign.
"Logging of drill cuttings recovered from holes already completed is identifying visible gold in some of the drill holes, indicating that these higher grade shears and veins zones may have continuity along strike." said Freegold Ventures.
Freegold added that it will also conduct a deeper core drilling program alongside the shallow RAB drilling to test gold mineralisation at depth.
