Rambler Metals & Mining

Rambler Metals and Mining was established to invest in the base metal sector in politically stable jurisdictions. Its principal project is the Rambler Cu-Au property, located on the Baie Verte Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Currently undergoing a mine dewatering program, Rambler  is well on track to have the mine completely dewatered during Q2 2008. Water levels have already receded to the 1800 level and the mine is in excellent condition requiring minimal rehabilitation.
Location

The Rambler Property is located in Canada, on Newfoundland and Labrador' Baie Verte Peninsula. The area has a history and culture of gold, base metals and industrial minerals mining. The major centre for the region is the town of Baie Verte, which offers several mining and exploration service providers, deep water loading, hotels, schools, shopping, medical facilities and recreational facilities.

Rambler Metals and Mining continues to hit high grade copper

Rambler Metals and Mining, the AIM and TSX listed mineral development company fast-tracking the Ming Copper Mine in Eastern Canada towards production reported yet more positive drill results from its underground diamond drilling campaign.

The highlight of the drill results released today was drill hole RMUG08-114 which cut 4 metres grading 4.48% copper and 0.25 grams per tonne gold.  Other drill results included RMUG08-110 which intersected 4 metres grading 4.32% copper and 0.26 grams per tonne gold and RMUG08-115 which returned 9.65 metres grading 2.46% copper and 0.13 grams per tonne gold.

Rambler is keen to point out the higher grade intersects as the mine development will focus on the highest grade ore zones first to speed up cash flow.  The gold credits in the copper ore will also play an important role in where the company will mine first.

Today’s drill results emanated from the Lower Footwall Zone, and will form part of a upgraded resource estimate expected in the first quarter of 2009.

George Ogilvie, P.Eng, President and CEO, Rambler commented:

“We continue to produce good drilling results from the Lower Footwall Zone which will bolster our long term mining plan. We are confident that the results of this drill program will continue to build upon the resource estimate outlined in the NI43-101 Report released on June 16th, 2008.”
