Hi Ho Silver

Hi Ho Silver Resources is an early-stage exploration and development company, focused on the acquisition of properties containing molybdenum and, to a lesser extent, copper and gold assets. The Company’s primary property, the Kettle River Project (“Carmi” property), was acquired in 2005 through a farm-in agreement with St. Elias Mines Ltd. Hi Ho Silver has an option to acquire up to a 70% interest in the property, which is located in the Okanagan Highlands of south-central British Columbia, about 45 kilometres south-southeast of Kelowna, near the Carmi settlement.

Hi Ho Silver aqcuires extensive claim holdings at Silver Tip project

Hi Ho Silver Resources announced the acquisition of a 100% interest in 59 mineral claims located in the Kaslo area of British Columbia within the northeast section of the historic Slocan Silver Camp where more than 75 million ounces of silver have been produced between 1892 and 1993.

Pursuant to an agreement dated September 2, 2008, Hi Ho is purchasing a 100% interest in 59 additional mineral claims in consideration of $15,000 and 200,000 common shares.

Upon completion of the acquisition, the entire Silver Tip Property will be comprised of 75 mineral claims covering a total gross surface area of approximately 13,400ha (134km2) in the heart of the Slocan Silver Camp.

The Silver Lode Group adjoins the past producing Hewitt Mine (produced 1,916,970 oz Ag), Van Roi Mine (produced 2,787,160 oz Ag) and the Montezuma Mine as well as adjoining the Utica Mine (produced 980,000 oz Ag). The newly acquired claims also contain the Dayton Mine, Morning Star Mine (25 tons shipped - grading 2.56 oz/ton Au, 8.0 oz/ton Ag, 15.65% Pb and 9.4% Zn) and Gold Viking Mines (17 tons shipped - grading 0.71 oz/ton Au and 9.0 oz/ton Ag.).

Fred Fisher President/CEO of Hi Ho Silver adds that "we are excited to add this attractive and land package to our existing claims in the area which now makes Hi Ho Silver one of the largest claim holders in this historic and highly prolific camp. We would also like to note that while the camp has historically been known as a silver camp it has also shown to host high grade gold, zinc and lead."
