Xemplar updates on Warmbad uranium project drill results

Canada-based Xemplar Energy Corp has issued detailed drilling results from its Warmbad uranium exploration project, following its recent statement that drill hole assay results from the project in Namibia have outlined five mineralized zones at Aluriesfontein and Big Yellow.


It reiterated that geological groundwork and the drilling continue to confirm the widespread uranium mineralization on the property.


Highlights of the significant drill results (chemical assay U3O8) include the following:


-    Hole RCBYW0006 at Big Yellow West encountered 44 metres grading 0.018 percent of Triuranium octoxide (a form of yellowcake uranium concentrate, abbreviated: U3O8), including 5 metres at 0.036 percent and 4 metres at 0.032 percent. Included within this hole are one metre intervals with grades of 0.082 percent and  0.054 percent U3O8.


-    Hole RCBYW0007 at the same property found 36 metres grading 0.018 percent U3O8, including 6 metres at 0.027 percent, 10 metres at 0.021 percent and 4 metres at 0.021 percent U3O8.


-    Hole RCBYW0002 at Big Yellow West struck 14 metres at 0.010 percent U3O8, and Hole RCBYW0004 7 metres at 0.018 percent U3O8, including 3 metres at 0.026 percent.


-    Hole RCBYE0044  at the Big Yellow East property encountered 6 metres at 0.015 percent U3O8, including 1 metre at 0.027 percent, and Hole RCBYE0048 found 19 metres at 0.015 percent U3O8, including 1 metre at 0.026 percent, 1 metre at 0.023 percent and 1 metre at 0.025 percent.


-    Aluriesfontein Hole RCALU0036 encountered 6 metres at 0.012 percent U3O8 and 3 metres at 0.014 percent.


-    Hole RCALU0037 at the same property found 13 meters at 0.013 percent U3O8, 20 metres at 0.015 percent and 4 metres at 0.020 percent.


-    Big Yellow Centre, Hole RCBY0013 encountered 7 metres at 0.022 percent U3O8, which included including 2 metres at 0.023 percent and  1 metre at 0.081 percent.


-    Hole RCBY0014 at the same property found 34 metres at 0.012 percent U3O8, while  Hole RCBY0019 struck 6 metres at 0.018 percent


-    Big Yellow Centre Hole RCBY0023 encountered 8 metres at 0.020 percent U3O8, including 1 metre at 0.074 percent.


The company continues to aggressively conduct its first phase of exploration drilling and evaluation at Warmbad and is on target to complete 40,000 metres of drilling at the property by year-end.


With CDN$17.0 million cash, the company is in a strong financial position to execute its exploration programs for the next 24 months, it added.
