Bango shares take off on Samsung Galaxy app store deal

App billing specialist Bango (LON:BGO) has won a significant new global contract to with Samsung.

The contract win means Bango will handle billing, collection and settlement for games, e-books, music and videos bought via Samsung’s Galaxy app store.

It adds another blue-chip technology name to Bango’s impressive client list which already includes the likes of Google, Amazon and Blackberry.

“The roll-out across a wide range of countries will begin immediately and Bango will provide an update on progress in due course,” the company said in a statement.

In early deals Bango shares were up more than 6% trading at 101.5p each.
