Norsemont Mining examining unsolicited expressions of interest for company
Norsemont Mining Inc said it has formed a special committee and is in the process of finding independent financial advisors in response to recent unsolicited expressions of interest to acquire the company.
The special committee has retained Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP as its legal advisors.
Norsemont cautioned shareholders that there is no assurance that any specific proposal will arise, that negotiations resulting from any such expressions of interest will result in any specific transaction and no timetable has been set for the completion of any transaction.
