Computer Sciences Corporation Awarded $42 million US Navy contract

Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it was awarded a one-year contract by the U.S.

Navy to provide systems programming and engineering services. The contract also provides an option for a one year extension, giving an estimated $42 million value for the contract.


Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide system software maintenance and integration and engineering services for Navy units and commands at the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division. CSC will also perform engineering studies to provide data analysis and reports.


Computer Sciences Corporation, based in Falls, Virginia, is a provider of technology solutions and services through three lines of businesses:  Business Solutions and Services, the Managed Services Sector and the North American Public Sector.  The company specializes in systems design and integration, information technology, business process outsourcing, mission support and management consulting.
