Inter-Citic Minerals
The Dachang gold project now has a total inferred mineral resource of approximately 2.9 million ounces gold contained (approximately 25 million tonnes with an average grade of 3.63 gpt Au)
Inter-Citic reports encouraging results from drilling at Dachang gold project
Inter-Citic Minerals Inc reported encouraging results from the seventh set of drill holes from the 2008 diamond drill program at its Dachang gold project in China.
Highlights include main zone infill drill hole CJV-529 which intersected multiple mineralized zones, including 2.3 metres of mineralization averaging 7.13 grams per ton of contained gold, 3.8 metres of mineralization averaging 2.24 g/t contained gold, and 7.9 metres averaging 4.74 g/t contained gold.
Infill hole CJV-532 intersected multiple mineralized zones, including 2.2 metres averaging 6.48 g/t contained gold and 4.2 metres averaging 4.65 g/t contained gold.
Drill hole CJV-543, a step-out hole on the Placer Valley Zone (PVZ), intersected multiple mineralized zones, including 3.4 metres of mineralization averaging 10.98 g/t contained gold.
Infill holes are testing continuity of the company's existing NI 43-101-compliant inferred resource area on the total 3+ kilometres extent of the Dachang main zone (DMZ). The sulphide mineralization of the DMZ is open to depth along most of this defined fault structure and is still open to the east and west.
Inter-Citic said it still has almost 100 additional completed drill holes from the 2008 exploration program at Dachang to be reported. Assay results will be reported as they become available.
