Normabec pleased with additional results from Pitt Gold Property
Normabec Mining Resources (TSX-V: NMB) announced the first results from its fall drilling program on its 100% owned Pitt Gold property in Quebec.
Between October and December Normabec completed 9 holes for a total of 5,180 metres of core.
The best assay results from the first two holes returned included 5 metres grading 11.52 grams per tonne gold from 354 metres in drill hole PG2008-08 and 11 metres grading 9.13 grams per tonne from 451 metres in drill hole PG2008-09. Both of the intersects were reported from Zone 1.
"These excellent results follow on a series of outstanding intersections reported in early 2008 from the winter drilling program undertaken in the same area. Mineralization at Pitt Gold can be followed laterally for 500 metres and vertically for 800 metres, and remains open at depth. Notably, as is common within the prolific Porcupine-Destor region, a large majority of high grade values are found below the 300 meter level," the company stated.
