Energy saving services provider NF Energy Saving (OTCBB: NFEC)  has signed a contract for work on an energy conservation project with bio-fuel production business Fuxin HF Bio-energy Development.

The project is designed to help 800 households in the Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County of Liaoning province, China to upgrade their energy system by transitioning to a clean energy source that will use crop waste and straw.

NF Energy expects to generate revenue of US$882,000 from the contract, all of which will be reflected in fourth quarter figures.

Under the terms of the deal, NF Energy will provide technical consultancy and project design, including equipment set up and testing.

Fuxin HF Bio-energy Development Company, a subsidiary of HF Bio-energy Group, is involved in transforming traditional small coal-fired plants to bio-powered plants to generate heat and power.

The deal will allow NF Energy to expand its business in the bio-energy industry, it said.
