Premier Gold and Sutter Gold report high grade gold intercepts at Santa Teresa

Premier Gold Mines (TSX:PG) and Sutter Gold Mines (TSX-V:SGM) reported the final batch of assay results from a 32 hole, Phase I drill campaign completed at the Santa Teresa Concession in Mexico.

Highlights included 21.1 grams per tonne gold over 1.35 metres and 16.68 grams per tonne gold over 3.1 metres.  In total, drilling completed to date has confirmed the presence of several high grade veins up to 260 metres along strike from the historic Princessa Gold Mines, which produced gold to a depth of 110 metres

"In all, our Phase One program had 23 intercepts drilled that were greater than 5.00 grams per tonne across no less than one metre, and the length weighted average of those exceeded 35.00 grams per tonne," commented Stephen McGibbon, Executive Vice-President & COO of Premier. "Recent drilling with more tightly patterned holes helped us better understand the nature and distribution of gold within this system."

Premier Gold Mines has secured the right to earn up to a 65% interest in the Santa Teresa Project from Sutter Gold Mines.
