TraceSafe Inc (CSE:TSF) is teaming up with Indian technology startup Spykke Innovations to deploy TraceSafe’s quarantine management solutions in Bengaluru, India.
The Canadian technology company said Tuesday that Spykke recently announced its intention to deploy its wristbands throughout Bengaluru to help manage community quarantine for people with symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) or incoming visitors to India’s fifth-most populous city.
In a statement, TraceSafe called the partnership an “important advancement and actionable way towards flattening the curve” in India, which has reported over 1.5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19.

"Our priority is to help contain COVID-19 around the world and we aim to provide customized solutions for every region," said Dennis Kwan, CEO of TraceSafe Technologies Inc.
"This partnership with Spykke will allow millions of people in Bengaluru to quarantine safely and effectively."
Spykke Innovations managing director Ramani Iyer said TraceSafe is “leading the way” with contact tracing and self-quarantine solutions with its device-to-cloud technology.
"We strongly believe that with the introduction of this cutting-edge technology, we will be able to strengthen the efforts put by local health authorities to fight the spread,” Iyer said in a statement.
TraceSafe’s technology is currently deployed by governments and private organizations around the world.
