Peregrine Diamonds (TSE:PGD) Tuesday agreed to buy BHP Billiton's (NYSE:BHP)(ASX:BHP) 51 percent stake in the 8,580 square kilometre Chidliak diamond project on Baffin Island in Nunavut for $9 million.
