Company Statement:
Xemplar Energy Corporation ("XE" on the TSX Venture Exchange, "E7R" on the Frankfurt and Berlin Exchange, "XEM" on the Namibian Exchange and "XEPRF" on the OTC Pink Sheets) is a Canadian-based company focused on uranium exploration. Xemplar Energy seeks to identify, acquire and develop uranium projects worldwide that show promise of potentially economic grades and tonnages in a timely, responsible, and cost effective manner. The Company has assembled a team of geologists and directors with extensive experience in uranium exploration, raising exploration capital and building shareholder value through new acquisitions and exploration success.
The increasing price of uranium, coupled with dozens of planned nuclear power projects, has resulted in numerous exploration companies seeking uranium deposits in many locales. Since 2000, uranium has risen from a low of US $7/lb. to a current price of over US $75 per pound. Most energy analysts are predicting a global uranium shortage of some 45,000 tonnes (100,000,000 lbs) over the next decade, unless significantly more mines are brought into production. Xemplar Energy is becoming strategically positioned to take advantage of the world's increasing demand for nuclear generated electricity, and the renewed importance of uranium exploration.
Current Operations:
Xemplar Energy through its wholly owned subsidiary Namura Minerals, has the exclusive exploration rights to five large scale properties that show significant promise for uranium mineralization in Namibia. These properties are located in the Warmbad, Cape Cross, Aus, Garub and Engo Valley areas of Namibia.
Warmbad Property Report Click Here For Report
The Warmbad area is located in the extreme south of Namibia, bordering on South Africa. This area is positioned along the north side of the Orange River. High radiation patterns extend over most of this area. Fourteen uraniferous alaskite bodies have been identified along a linear feature some 30 kms in length. The exploration model is a Rossing type uranium occurrence exists. Historical uraniferous alaskite samples have yielded assay results ranging from 0.9 kilogram to 4.72 kg per ton (0.09% to 0.472%) U3O8. Recent assay results from the Company's drilling program has shown that at least two of these bodies, "Big Yellow" and "Gaobis", extend to depths, in some cases in excess of 200 metres. The analysis of the drill samples from 11 drill holes has shown that wide widths are mineralized.

Mining companies who have held EPLs in this area include Rand Mines, General Mining and Falconbridge. All three of these companies have carried out uranium exploration work in the area. The area is situated 20 km north of Henties Bay. Prospecting was directed at secondary uranium mineralization associated with calcrete palaeochannels.
Aus/Garub Property report Click Here For Report
This area is located around the small town of Aus some 100 kilometres east of port city of Luderitz. It is a relatively unexplored area and has the potential to host a Langer Heinrich (Paladin Resources) type deposit. The area has extensive calcrete deposits and the intrusive granites of the Tumuab unit, the Kubub granite gneiss and the Aus granite gneiss are potential sources of uranium. It is proposed that uranium weathered from these granites has been deposited in the calcretes as carnotite.
Engo Valley Report Click Here For Report
The Engo Valley property is located in the northwest of Namibia. Calculated ore reserves are estimated at approximately 6 million tonnes at 0.04% U3O8. However, in a report written by General Mining in 1979, ""Detail 1" area has an estimated potential for approximately 15 million tons of ore at a grade of approximately 0.04% U3O8. However a large amount of drilling is required to prove the reserves."
