Description
Commerce Resources Corp. is focused on the development of its Upper Fir tantalum and niobium deposit in British Columbia, Canada. The company is well positioned with sufficient capital to advance the commercialization of a prospectively lucrative low-cost mining operation for tantalum and niobium.
The importance of new sources of tantalum and niobium cannot be overstated. Tantalum is so sought after that any meaningful new potential producers are welcomed with open arms by tantalum-dependent end-users, namely the global hi-tech industry.
Commerce Resources is also focused on the exploration of its new deposit the Eldor carbonatite in Quebec, which is highly prospective for niobium, tantalum and uranium.

Current Operations:
BLUE RIVER TANTALUM-NIOBIUM PROJECT
Upper Fir Property
The Upper Fir property is located in the Kamloops Mining Division of British Columbia, approximately 10 kilometers north of the town of Blue River. Commerce acquired a 100% interest in the property and is not subject to any underlying royalties.
The company has outlined an indicated resource for the Upper Fir property totaling 8.60 million tonnes grading 208.9 grams per tonne Ta2O5 and 1,372 grams per tonne Nb2O5. The Upper Fir is also host to an inferred resource of 5.50 million tonnes grading 208.2 grams per tonne Ta2O5 and 1,349 grams per tonne Nb2O5. (Read More)
Fir Property
The Fir deposit, defined by 15 diamond drill holes, contains an indicated resource of 5.65 million tonnes grading 203.1 grams per tonne Ta2O5 and 1,047 grams per tonne Nb2O5. The current geological model suggests this may be part of a larger mineralized system, traced in soil sampling and geophysics.
The Fir deposit consists of 12 contiguous unsurveyed mineral claims (Fir 1 to 12) which cover a total area of about 1,725 ha (17¼ km squared). (Read More)
Verity Property
The Verity deposit is host to an inferred resource of 3.06 million tonnes grading 196 grams per tonne tantalum and 646 grams per tonne niobium (McCrea, 2001). The Verity remains open for expansion in three directions.
The company's Verity project consists of 13 claims totaling 325 acres, covering the Verity carbonatite and is located 30 kilometers north of Blue River, British Columbia. The claims were staked by Commerce Resources Corp. between February and October 2000, and are owned 100% by Commerce with no underlying royalties. (Read More)
ELDOR PROJECT
The Eldor Property is at a relatively early stage of exploration with historic exploration results indicating considerable potential for carbonatite-hosted niobium and tantalum mineralization. Following its acquisition from Virginia Mines Inc. in 2007, Commerce Resources completed a comprehensive exploration program to confirm the historic mineralization at the property. (Read More)
CARBO PROJECT
The Carbo Claims are located north of Prince George and cover a series of carbonatite and alkalic intrusions atop Bear Ridge. During 2006-2007, the Company conducted rock and soil sampling, and geophysical surveys. The results have produced highly anomalous concentrations of niobium and rare earth elements in the soil and rock samples. Further exploration is required to ascertain the nature of this mineralization. (Read More)
