Description
MINDORO has been exploring in the Asia Pacific region's high-potential magmatic arcs since 1997, and holds a significant land position of more than 60,000 hectares in world-class nickel laterite and copper-gold porphyry districts in the Philippines. The company's most advanced properties are the Kay Tanda Gold-Silver and Agata Nickel Laterite prospects. These properties have been drilled extensively and are being fast-tracked towards economic evaluation and potential near-term development. Drilling is also underway on a massive multi-kilometer porphyry copper-gold prospect with potential to host multiple porphyry copper-gold centers. A further 22 porphyry copper-gold and several epithermal gold targets have yet to be tested.

Company Statement:
Mindoro is a Tier One company trading on the TSX Venture Exchange (MIO) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (WKN 906167). MINDORO is building shareholder value through diverse resource exploration in the Philippines and by advancing early stage opportunities to production or joint venture. Mindoro has announced initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimates on its Agata North nickel laterite project, where drilling is on-going, and its Kay Tanda gold-silver project and has also identified 22 porphyry copper-gold prospects. The company is currently involved in several advanced joint venture discussions, is well-financed and has plans for multiple drill programs in the latter half of 2008.
Current Operations:
Mindoro are currently focused on a number of high quality projects in the Philippines:
Batangas
The Batangas land package totals over 29,000 hectares in a recognized porphyry copper-gold belt adjacent to Freeport McMoRan's Taysan porphyry copper-gold deposit. Batangas hosts several epithermal gold and at least ten porphyry copper-gold prospects. Mindoro has earned a 51% interest in the property and signed a Letter of Intent in July to acquire the remaining 49% interest.
An initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate has been released on the Kay Tanda gold-silver project. Mindoro is in negotiations with an established gold producer to advance further exploration and potential development at Kay Tanda under joint venture. Mindoro is also in advanced negotiations with a large copper producer to joint venture the Calo, El Paso and Talahib Projects, also located within the Batangas land package.

Surigao
The Surigao land package encompasses more than 26,000 hectares in close proximity to holdings of majors Anglo American and Anglo Ashanti. Mineralization is epithermal gold, porphyry copper-gold and nickel-iron-cobalt laterite. Mindoro has a 75% interest with options to acquire up to 100% interest.

An initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate has been released on the Agata nickel laterite project. Demand from China's stainless steel industry is fuelling the Philippines' emerging nickel laterite processing industry and Mindoro sees abundant opportunity to establish an integrated nickel mining and processing operation at Agata.
In addition to the nickel laterite, Mindoro's Agata, Tapian San Francisco, and Tapian Main Projects host ten porphyry copper-gold prospects and several epithermal gold prospects.

Pan De Azucar
The package on the Pan De Azucar island comprises 535 hectares. The mineralization is epithermal, massive pyritic-sulphide and copper porphyry. Drilling in 2001 encountered promising copper, gold, zinc and silver values in one zone and copper porphyry-related alteration in another. These two targets are clearly identified and ready for drilling.
