Horizonte Minerals PLC chief talks Araguaia expectations and timeline

Jeremy Martin, chief executive, Horizonte Minerals PLC (LON:HZM) says the  deal last year with titan Glencore PLC (LON:GLEN) creates “one of the largest and highest grade nickel saprolite projects globally.”

The firm bought the adjacent nickel project to Araguaia, and Martin adds the deal was “a very good value-add transaction” on deal terms that were “compelling”.

The focus in the first half of 2016 is to integrate the two sites, with a pre-feasibility study expected in the first six months.
