RewardStream's new business model will 'open up new markets' says CEO Rob Goehring

A move towards a more profitable SaaS (software as a service) model has helped tech group RewardStream Solutions Inc (CVE:REW) increase revenues in its referral business by 26% in the year gone compared to 2015.

Chief executive Rob Goehring tells Proactive: ''Historically RewardStream as a business operated by selling the software as a solution to large enterprise clients only ... the majority of our revenue was up front and consulting services with some amount of recurring revenue''.

''What we've done now is moved into the software as a service model where our platform is much easier to deploy, it requires less customisation, it's much more standardised and allows us to go after  a much wider audience of customers.''

Goehring adds: ''It allows us to deliver the service at a better cost for us and a better price for our customers and open up new markets''.
