Bluebird Energy plc has hydrocarbon interests as depicted below, in five assets in four states of the United States of America: Pennsylvania, Kansas, Colorado and Montana.

Centurion in south Kansas is an oil producing asset, however, only a small proportion of the acreage has been developed to date. Six wells are producing through two separation and tank chains. Produced water flows into a water disposal well.  Further production wells are being drilled or re-opened. Regional analysis indicates that further exploration drilling across the remaining acreage using traditional oilfield techniques has a 30 percent chance of success. Bluebird Energy plc management intend, in conjunction with the operator, to acquire 3 D seismic data, with a view to better identifying well targets. Long term development may use horizontal wells, which have recently proved successful in similar formations.

The Company also holds rights to the Marcellus Shale. Recent deals in the region for prime Marcellus Shale with a significant contiguous acreage position have been recorded at around US $7,000 per acre, with even higher values paid for acreage with production facilities. 

Extensive acreage at Solitaire in eastern Colorado has some historic drilling data including gas flows from the shallow Niobrara Carbonates, which is believed to be the primary target formation in the region.

Big Sky in southern Montana contains exploration leads in Cretaceous age Greybull sandstone channels.  The area also has potential for CBM production.

Andy Yeo- Chief Executive Officer

Mr Yeo has more than 20 years' experience in multi-discipline corporate advisory and stockbroking activities within the AIM, Small & Mid Cap markets. Mr Yeo was a founder member of Evolution Securities where he was an Executive Director and Head of Research. Most recently, Mr Yeo has been retained as a Capital Markets Consultant by McCall, Aitken McKenzie & Co., a private equity advisory specialist in the International Oil & Gas sector.

Over the last 10 years, Mr Yeo has assisted companies in a variety of executive and non-executive roles (including Audit and Remuneration Committees) and as a boardroom advisor. 

Mr Yeo is also a non-executive director of Wessex Exploration PLC.

Brian Marshall Non Executive Director

Brian is a chartered accountant who established his own independent accountancy practice in Bath ten years ago. His practice provides audit accountancy and taxation services.

Mr Marshall is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and also sits on the Audit committee.

Frederik Dekker Non Executive Director

Mr Dekker has over 40 years experience in the oil industry, predominantly with Union Oil (later Unocal).  With a background as a geologist, Mr Dekker offers extensive experience in the establishment and administration of exploration operations in various countries worldwide.

Mr Dekker is Chairman of the Audit committee and also sits on the Remuneration Committee.
