Western Territories Manager

Scott Barclay has over 20 years’ experience in the agricultural industry with extensive experience as an agronomist and in the areas of customer service, sales management, training and sales forecasting.

Scott started out in chemical and fertilizer and seed sales. In 2002 he worked as a Corporate Agronomist for Young and Young of Idaho. For over 10 years Scott was Crop Advisor/Sales Representative for Land View Fertilizer advising growers on chemical and fertilizer applications.

With strong chemicals, fertilizer, seed and crop expertise, Scott has been able to establish relationships with growers and looks forward to using his knowledge and skill as Western Territories Manager.

Scott is a certified Crop Advisor (CCA 33406).

Senior Vice President - Agronomy

Roger McCary is an irrigation water management and aerial photography expert with over 40 years of working knowledge in the Pacific Norwest region including Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. As a senior agronomist for ProAg, Roger’s extensive experience at the business means that he has impressive field consultancy, moisture monitoring and infrared knowledge.

Roger grew up on his family’s farm in Washington State’s Columbia Basin. For nearly 10 years he worked in irrigation, from installation to design and sales, with heavy focus on the center pivot system.

Working for an ag-tech company, Roger gained hands-on experience with the infrared process, neutron probes and moisture monitoring across a variety of crops including row-crops (potatoes, onions), tree crops, viticulture and many others such as hops.

Roger formed ProAg in 1987 with Mike Stephenson. ProAg joined the CropLogic Group in 2017.

Senior Vice President - Agronomy

Mike Stephenson has over 40 years’ experience in field consultancy, moisture monitoring and infrared, soil and plant tissue sampling, nematode sampling, pest management and identifying and assisting farmers with best management practices.

Mike began his agricultural career as a field consultant for Cenex Soil Service Center. He then went on to manage an agricultural seed operation and work for an ag-tech company where he gained experience with infrared neutron probes and moisture monitoring. In 1987, Mike and Roger McCary formed ProAg, which joined the CropLogic Group in 2017.

Mike is a 10-year board member of the Franklin County Conservation District, which is charged with identifying and assisting farmers across Washington, Oregon and Idaho with best management practices as relates to crop production and conservation of water, soils, fuels and food safety. He holds an Associate Degree in Agricultural Chemical Business.

Junior Vice President - Agronomy

Sam Kniveton is an agronomist with over 20 years’ experience in farm management, crop production, customer service and technical expertise across the Pacific Northwest region.

Specializing in irrigation, Sam applies the latest technology, including CropLogic realTime app and desktop dashboard, to collect and analyse crop and soil data gathered, helping his customers across Washington, Oregon and Idaho, develop an irrigation strategy to optimise yield and grower success.

Sam joined ProAg in 2006. Prior to this he worked as a technician for Washington State University Asparagus harvester project and as a Hereford farm manager. In 2017, ProAg, joined the CropLogic Group.

Sam holds an BA in Agriculture from the Washington State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Columbia Basin College with certificates in crops and soils, and agriculture management.

Junior Vice President - Agronomy

Chris Friberg is an agronomy specialist with over 15 years’ experience in seed, plant and crop monitoring and analysis, irrigation consultation, and technology programming and design. Chris also has an extensive practical knowledge of neutron probes, realTime capacitance probes and realTime equipment.

While completing his studies at Washing State University, Chris assisted in various plant breeding, harvesting and analyzing projects. In 2009 he started as a Plant Technician for Syngenta in Pasco, WA, treating and analyzing small vegetable seed to determine moisture content and seeds/pound.

Since 2010, Chris has been an Irrigation Consultant for ProAg (which joined the CropLogic group in 2017), using his probe expertise to consult on irrigation scheduling based on current soil moisture and forecast evapotranspiration across a variety of crops including tree crops, viticulture, row-crops (potatoes, onions) throughout the Pacific Norwest region.

Chris holds a Bachelor Science, Horticulture from Washington State University and a FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft System Pilot Certificate.

Aerial Imagery Specialist

Tom Muhlbeier is an aerial imagery photographer with over 30 years’ experience in the agriculture industry. His practical understanding of the area and ability to adapt to complex situations means that Tom can relate to growers and those working within the agricultural sector.

Tom has 27 growing seasons of aerial infrared photography experience and was instrumental in the creation of the aerial photography division of ProAg (which joined the CropLogic group in 2017), having joined the company soon after it was founded in 1987.

Starting out on his father’s farm, Tom developed a passion for the land. This led to him owning and operating his own organic apple orchard. Prior to ProAg CropLogic, Tom worked as warehouse manager for an agriculture chemical company and as a sales representative for various companies including an irrigation equipment supplier.

Tom is qualified in agri-chemical business management and as a chartered financial consultant.

Aerial Imagery Pilot

Kelsey Landa is a qualified pilot. She has worked her way up within the aviation industry and has over 5 years’ experience working with aircraft.

Kelsey began her aviation career as an Aircraft Mechanic Assistant while completing a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology at Walla Walla University, which she graduated Madna with distinction.

During her time at Walla Walla University Kelsey assisted in the mechanical maintenance of aircraft and completed an internship as a bush pilot. Kelsey also has experience as a de-icing and anti-icing technician having worked on aircraft for Alaska, Horizon, Virgin and SkyWest Airlines.

Kelsey joined ProAg CropLogic in 2015 and in the Company’s Cessna 172 has completed numerous local and cross-country flights covering Washington and Idaho, taking aerial photographs of clients’ crop circles.

Office Manager

Katherine Voshalo is an accounting and finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in office management, GAAP accounting, account management, and the auditing of corporate companies, small businesses and non-profit agencies.

Prior to joining ProAg CropLogic in 2018, Katherine was Office Manager/Controller for Blue Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America, where she managed HR, payroll as well as overseeing the reporting of accounting operations, budgeting, and financials.

Katherine’s extensive experience as an accountant has seen her conduct audits and reviews for various organizations, including international businesses, as well as prepare and present state and federal tax returns for individuals, businesses and non-profit agencies.

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science and also received her Financial Planning Program Master of Business Administration in 2001.
