SKAERGAARD

Skaergaard gold and PGM project, Greenland (PGM: 100%)

Highlights:

  • One of the world’s largest undeveloped gold deposits
  • One of the largest known palladium resources outside South Africa and Russia

Skaergaard is located on the east coast of Greenland, approximately 400km west of Iceland. It is one of the world’s largest undeveloped gold and palladium resources and has in Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate, reported in accordance with the JORC Code (2012) of 203Mt at 0.88g/t gold and 1.33g/t palladium at a 1g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) cut-off grade and minimum mining thickness of 1m.

The Skaergaard licence was renewed for a further three years in late 2016 and Platina plans to undertake a program development review and site visit to Skaergaard in 2017.


QIALIVARTEERPIK

Qialivarteerpik multi-element project, Greenland (PGM: 100%)

Highlights:

  • 17km2 of highly prospective exploration ground
  • Licence surrounds Skaergaard project area

Qialivarteerpik is located on the east coast of Greenland and comproses the potential north-east extension of the Skaergaard project. Qialivateerpik contains two significant prospecting regions, the Miki Fjord Dyke and the Sortekap Greenstone Belt.


MUNNI MUNNI

Munni Munni PGM and gold project, Western Australia

Highlights:

  • Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource
  • Located in proximity to town and port infrastructure

Situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, the Munni Munni Complex is one of Australia’s most significant PGM occurrences and has a Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 23.6Mt at 1.1g/t gold and 1.5g/t platinum using a cut-off of 1.9g/t PGM + Au (SRK 2002 and Snowden 2003).

In 2015, Platina entered into a binding agreement with Artemis Resources providing for Artemis’ subsidiary Karratha Metals Pty Ltd to earn a 70% interest in the Mining Leases held by Platina by expending $750,000 in exploration over a three-year period.

Brian Moller has been a partner with Brisbane law firm HopgoodGanim for 25 years and practices almost exclusively in the corporate area with an emphasis on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

Brian acts for many publicly listed resource and industrial companies in Australia, and regularly advises on corporate governance and related issues. He has acted on numerous mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings in both the industrial and resources sectors.

He is a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed DGR Global Ltd and Navaho Gold Ltd as well as SolGold plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM).


Corey Nolan
Managing Director

Mr Nolan is an accomplished mining executive and experienced public company director with more than 25 years’ experience focused on the acquisition, funding, exploration and development of resource projects.

Most recently, Mr Nolan was Chief Executive Officer at Sayona Mining Limited. Mr Nolan was instrumental in the identification, negotiation, due diligence and financing the acquisition of the Authier lithium project in Canada. Since acquisition, Mr Nolan was responsible for overseeing a major expansion of the Authier lithium resource, numerous metallurgical testing programs, a pre-feasibility study and definitive study which is underway. During Mr Nolan’s tenure, Sayona Mining’s market capitalisation has materially increased and he has raised a significant amount of equity capital to fund the Authier work programs.

Mr Nolan was previously Managing Director of former ASX/AIM listed Leyshon Resources Limited and Managing Director (2009 – 2013) and Non-Executive Director (2013 to present) of ASX-listed, Elementos Limited.

Mr Nolan’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters Degree in Mineral and Energy Economics. Mr Nolan is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Dr. Chris Hartley

Bsc; PhD – Mineral Technology

Dr. Hartley worked with Bloom Energy as Technical Director Strategic Materials for five years and prior to that, held roles with BHP Billiton and its predecessor Billiton International as well as working as an independent consultant.

His roles have been based in the UK, the Netherlands, India, USA and Australia.


Paul Jurman
Non-Executive Director

Paul Jurman is involved with a diverse range of Australian public listed companies in company secretarial and financial roles. He is currently company secretary of Platina Resources Ltd, Carnavale Resources Ltd, Kangaroo Resources Ltd and Nemex Resources Ltd.


John Anderson
Non-Executive Director

John has had more than 20 years’ experience in the gas industry with 12 of those in senior executive roles at Santos Limited (Santos). John was also a director of Darwin LNG for more than 8 years. John is an experienced executive in the Australian and Asian energy markets with direct international experience in the Asian region having led businesses operating in the region for a number of years including Santos’ significant investments in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Malaysia, PNG and Indonesia. He has extensive experience in Asia Pacific in LNG projects and the commercialization of domestic gas and increasingly the interplay between both gas to LNG and gas to domestic energy needs.
