Cloud Nine Education Group’s Digital
Cloud Nine’s digital ESL curriculum has been designed following the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) international standard guideline for language learning. The comprehensive CEFR guideline was built by educational institutions from many countries following proven best practices in language acquisition.
Our curriculum has been developed for teachers to teach English as a Second Language. Cloud Nine follows the CEFR level system: Basic Levels A1 and A2 (Beginners), Independent Levels B1 and B2 (Intermediate) and Proficient Levels C1 and C2 (Advanced). Using Cloud Nine’s digital curriculum, teachers can teach 5 different classes based on levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. Level C2 is industry specific and can be developed on a as needed basis.
Each of the 5 Levels in Cloud Nine’s curriculum contains 8 modules which are based on familiar topics and themes. Each Module contains 3 Lessons followed by a Module Review Lesson which includes a progress test. 24 three-hour lessons are provided per level plus an additional 8 Module Review Lessons with progress tests
Cloud Nine’s Digital Curriculum and Google Classroom
Cloud Nine’s digital curriculum is built to be used in conjunctions with the Google Classroom product developed by Google. Google Classroom is part of the Google For Education suite that includes Gmail, Drive, Hangouts, Sites, Slides, Forms, Sheets, Docs, Vault, and Calendar. Cloud Nine’s curriculum makes good use of Google’s proven technological infrastructure and interconnectivity that provides teachers a top rate education solution.
Google Classroom streamlines assignments, boosts collaboration, and fosters seamless communication to make teaching more productive and meaningful. The combination of Cloud Nine’s digital ESL curriculum and Google Classroom is easy to use, versatile and impactful. Teachers and students can work anywhere, anytime and on any device and educators can provide instant feedback and track a student’s progress to improve performance and better manage classroom time for superior learning outcomes.
Cloud Nine’s digital ESL curriculum for teachers is a comprehensive tool to teach many levels of English. It can be used standalone or in conjunction with other materials a teacher may have. The Google For Education suite provides an environment enabling a teacher to add documents, audio/video files, forms and other learning materials.

Allan Larmour is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies, start-up technology companies, international sales and business development, and executive management. Mr. Larmour has been a strategic business planning and investment consultant since 2009 and holds directorship and executive leadership positions at several private and public companies. He is a professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics, both from the University of British Columbia.

A Peter Lee has extensive experience building English as a Second Language (ESL) schools and is the CEO of Cloud Nine College, an ESL school based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Peter has managed large financial divisions of large corporations and holds directorship and executive management positions at several public and private companies. He has extensive network of international ESL marketing agencies overseas. He is bilingual in English and Korean. He is a Canadian CPA/CA and holds a bachelors of science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from UBC.
Head of Digital Curriculum Development
Anna Zhao graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2016 with an M. ED. degree in Adult Learning and Education and earned her Trinity Diploma in TESOL in 2012. As a certified CELTA trainer, she spent 2 years tutoring CELTA courses in Vancouver, Canada. Ms. Zhao has over 12 years of experience in ESL teaching, curriculum development, and teacher training and for the last 2 years she has specialized in IELTS teaching. Before moving to Canada, Ms. Zhao worked as the regional teacher trainer for 8 years in a prestigious private ESL institution in China.
