Update on sales of Baita Plai concentrate

Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed producer & development company, is pleased to inform shareholders that further to the announcement made on 26 November 2020 regarding the first commercial sale of concentrate produced at its Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine (‘Baita Plai’) in Romania, it has received the cash proceeds from the delivery of concentrate in accordance with expectations.

The Company is also pleased to report that the second commercial sale of concentrate produced at Baita Plai is expected to conclude in December 2020.

The Company wishes to advise that it will not be reporting sales on a monthly basis in 2021 but will outline its sales and production reporting plans in due course.

The Company also owns the Manaila Polymetallic Mine in Romania, which was commissioned in 2015, currently on care and maintenance. The Company has been granted the Manaila Carlibaba Extended Exploitation License that will allow the Company to re-examine the exploitation of the mineral resources within the larger Manaila Carlibaba licence area.

In Zimbabwe, the Company is focused on the commencement of the joint venture mining agreement on the Community Diamond Concession, Chiadzwa, in the Marange Diamond Fields.
