You remember that we mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Burey Gold†† was about to start its 3,500m RC drill programme at the large 4km x 2.5km Douze Match anomaly? Well, this has started today. Three drill fence lines will cover 1km over the highest-grade portion, with first holes currently being drilled across the Belgian Tango workings. Initial results are expected before the end of June. Field crews have also commenced detailed mapping and ground truthing of soil anomalies at Mangote in preparation for a follow-up shallow RC drilling programme. For more detail on the current programme, you can read the Open Briefing interview with Burey’s Exploration Manager Mark Gasson here.
