With the world’s attentions on the number counting over in the United States, Wednesday November 9 will likely be a great date in the calendar to bury bad news.

So … who’s already pencilled into the schedule for Wednesday?

Energy utilities firm SSE plc (LON:SSE) and Tullow Oil (LON:TLW) are notable entrants, with the former releasing interim results and the later set to put out a trading statement.

Supermarket retailer Sainsbury Plc (LON:SBRY) has interim results, as does Experian Plc (LON:EXPN) and Burberry Group Plc (LON:BRBY).

Home and car insurance group eSure Group Plc (LON:ESUR) also has a trading statement in the diary.

Eastern Europe focussed budget airline Wizz Air Holdings Plc (LON:WIZZ) has its interim results in the book, as does Flybe Plc (LON:FLYB).
