Landore Resoruces (LON:LAND) is to re-assess the lithium potential on its Junior Lake licence after a resurgence of interest of interest in similar deposits in Ontario, Canada.
A nickel/copper deposit primarily, Landore has been exploring for other metals culminating in a recent gold discovery at BAM East.
Follow up drilling at BAM East will start at the end of next month after initial drilling established a 30m wide gold zone, 100m long and down dip that was open in all directions.
Several lithium discoveries have also been logged in the vicinity of Junior Lake, said Landore.
Allied to an upsurge of interest in lithium as a potential source of power for electrical vehicles and other battery-powered machines recently, Landore will reassess the three lithium prospects already discovered already at Junior Lake: the Despard pegmatite, the Swole Lake pegmatite and the Tape Lake pegmatites.
In addition, areas in between these lithium occurrences have barely been explored at all it added.
