MySQUAR agrees deal to use Cellum’s m-commerce features

Burma-based social media platform MySQUAR Ltd (LON:MYSQ) will use Cellum’s technology for the mobile pay feature on its social messaging app.

“Myanmar is now attracting the most innovative services in the world in the field of mobile commerce,” said MySQUAR chief executive Eric Schaer.

MyPay, a provider of mobile payment services, is currently integrated as a feature on MySQUAR’s social chat app, MyChat.

Users will now have access to new mobile payment features such as QR Code payments, peer-to-peer transfers and bill payment.

Cellum’s mobile commerce systems currently manage nearly two million secure mobile payments each month.

MySQUAR shares were flat at 6.59p.
