MGX Minerals hires ChemCognition for marketing services

ChemCognition remains marketing adviser to MGX's Alberta lithium properties

MGX Minerals Inc. (CNSX:XMG) said on Wednesday it has retained ChemCognition LLC to provide strategic marketing and product development services for MGX's Alberta lithium properties.

Huntersville, North Carolina-based ChemCognition is spearheaded by Claudio Manissero who holds over 40 years of global experience in the chemical industry, including significant involvement in mining, environmental and oil field industries.

Manissero also spent 21 years at FMC Corp. (NYSE:FMC) where he served as sales and marketing manager.

FMC is the second-largest producer of lithium globally and the only mine-to-metal producer of lithium in the world.

While at FMC, Manissero oversaw the market development, technical logistics and sales efforts of a wide range of lithium-based products. He also directed a technical team on new technology developments that resulted in a number of patents and government and industry approvals.

Manissero obtained a BS degree from Duke University and an MS degree in organic chemistry/biochemistry from Marshall University.

Manissero is currently the president and co-founder of ChemCognition, a private consulting firm designed to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for lithium-based technologies. ChemCognition also provides access to a synergized network of specialized firms and manufacturers within the industry.

MGX shares were up 2.8% at C$0.18 on Wednesday.
