Major share price risers and fallers in London at around 14:30am


Shanta Gold Limited (LON:SHG), up 12% to 8.12p. The miner said it can progress its second Singida project, where pilot production is targeted to start in the first quarter of 2017.

Ashmore group Plc (LON:ASHM), up 5.5% to 346.3p. The wealth manager was upgraded by Goldman Sachs to ‘buy’ from ‘hold’.

EKF Diagnostics Holdings (LON:EKF), up 8.7% to 15.5p. N+1 Singer now rates the healthcare company as a ‘buy’.


Coal of Africa Plc (LON:CZA), down 7% to 3.25p. The company’s offer to acquire Universal Coal lapsed with its conditions unfulfilled.

Mosman (LON:MSMN),  down 4.76% to 1p. As it continues to seek other opportunities the company told investors that initial exploration efforts will shortly begin for its new diamond venture.

Metals Exploration (LON:MTL), down 16.25%. The mine developer is in talks with  major shareholders in a bid to raise US$5mln for additional working capital.

Sierra Rutile Ltd (LON:SRX), up 8.5% to 28.75p. The mineral sands group told investors that production is expected to be at the upper end of guidance, following a strong second quarter.

dotDigital Group Plc (LON:DOTD), up 4.5% to 46.5p. The marketing services group said that its international expansion was progressing well, with American revenues up 49% to US$4.4mln.

Sepura Plc (LON:SEPU), up 28.7% to 47p. The communications technology group landed a US$34mln contract for New York City Transit project.


Faroe Petroleum Plc (LON:FPM), down 8.15%to 73.25p. Shares in the growing North Sea oil producer inevitably paid the equity-placing piper on Friday, a result of the pending dilution, though the group’s oversubscribed £62mln funding and new value-adding acquisition give encouragement.

Stanley Gibbons Grp (LON:SGI), down 6% to 9.5p. The stamp and collectibles specialist revealed further details on its ongoing restructuring and management changes.

Regency Mines Plc (LON:RGM), down 7% to 0.33p. The mining investor updated on its part-owned Mambare nickel project in Papua New Guinea.
