Valmec wins Eastern Goldfields Pipeline installation contract

Valmec (ASX:VMX) has secured the award of the Eastern Goldfields Pipeline Project by APA Operations.

The project is scheduled for immediate commencement and expected to run through until November 2015.

Valmec’s scope of work will comprise the supply, fabrication, installation, construction and testing of facilities required as part of APA Group’s $140 million Eastern Gas Pipeline Project.

When complete, APA will transport gas a total distance of 1,500 kilometres to mining operations in the eastern Goldfields region in Western Australia through three of its interconnected pipelines.

These are the Goldfields Gas Pipeline, the Murrin Murrin Lateral, and the new 292 kilometre Eastern Goldfields Pipeline which is currently under construction.

With an active tender pipeline and diversity of revenues VALMEC is positioned to deliver growth in the years ahead.
