Global Construction Services lands $30M formwork job

Global Construction Services (ASX: GCS) has received a A$30 million letter of intent to carry out major formwork and concrete works on a new public health campus in Midland, Perth.

GCS’s formwork division CASC will start work immediately and expects formal contract execution to be completed in the coming weeks.

The Letter of Intent was awarded by Brookfield Multiplex, which is working with St John of God Health and Hasell to deliver the new 307 bed public health campus, which is expected to open in 2015.

This will deliver health care services to the population in Perth’s northeastern corridor.
