Uscom achieves record production of cardiovascular devices

Uscom manufactured a record number of cardiovascular devices in December.

The company manufactures USCOM 1A cardiovascular monitor that measures cardiovascular function, detects irregularities and is used to guide treatment.

The December quarterly manufacturing represented 42% of the total USCOM 1A devices manufactured annually in FY2016.

The number of units manufactured in the first half of FY2017 increased by 28% on the previous half and Uscom delivered its 1000th USCOM 1A device into global markets.

Furthermore, Uscom is anticipating the sequential commercial release of its blood pressure monitor and pulmonary function testing devices into the Chinese, European and U.S. markets over the next 12 months.

The company had earlier reported a 44% growth in FY2016 revenues to $2.94 million, from $2.04 million in FY2015.

Significantly, cash receipts from customers increased 94% to $2.56 million in FY2016, compared to $1.32 million in FY2015.

Uscom has achieved significant progress in product development and sales growth during 2016, with further growth expected in 2017 and beyond.
