Admedus appoints John Seaberg as chairman

Admedus Limited is a specialist healthcare company.

Seaberg commented: "I am honoured to serve as chairman of Admedus and am very optimistic about the potential of the company."

Admedus (ASX:AHZ) has appointed the experienced John Seaberg as chairman, effective immediately.

Seaberg first joined the Admedus board in 2014, from which time he has played a key role in its ‘Code Red’ turnaround.

He succeeds Wayne Paterson, who is stepping down, as compliance with the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations requires a separation of duties between the CEO and chairman.

Paterson commented:

"John Seaberg and I have been working closely together on the board to position and prepare Admedus for the opportunities ahead – to get the company on a commercially viable pathway.

"John’s unique blend of impeccable board credentials, senior corporate experience, subject matter expertise – plus wealth of commercial and medical knowledge – have helped prepare Admedus for sustained success in our target markets which he knows like the back of his hand."
