MYCELX said the sale of the water system marks its first contract award

Clean water technology company, MYCELX Technologies Corporation (LON:MYXR), has won its first contract in the Nigerian oil and gas market.

The group will provide onshore water treatment to an undisclosed independent oil and gas producer, which is developing reserves in the Niger Delta.

The operator will use MYCELX’s system for water injection and enhanced oil recovery techniques to increase its production and reserves.

MYCELX said the sale of the water system marks the first contract award from efforts in 2016 of working with clients in exploring ways to utilise the technology through months of trials. The contract also opens up a new geographical market and supports the company’s internal 2017 growth projection, MYCELX added.
