Logan Resources Ltd (CVE:LGR) has begin preparation work on a second phase of drilling on the Brik property in Lincoln County, Nevada.

The plan is for a total of approximately 1,995m in 10 core holes, to be carried out in the summer and autumn.

Phase One drilling comprised of eight reverse-circulation (RC) holes at the Hidden Treasure target area. Phase 2 will target Hidden Treasure again and also Sinter, and Maui Wash.

Six holes have been designed within and adjacent to the main mineralized zone at Hidden Treasure and two holes have been designed each at Sinter and Maui Wash.

Sinter's target area is approximately 2km west-northwest from Hidden Treasure while Maui Wash is in the southeastern portion of the Brik claim block, approximately 1.5KM south of Hidden Treasure.

Logan is considering nine USA projects - the Brik, Drum, Griffon , Antelope,  Easter, Sandy, Anchor, Viper, and Stateline sites - following an option deal last year with Pilot Gold Inc, now called  Liberty Gold.

Liberty drilled four holes at Sinter with a highlight intercept of 4.6 meters with an average grade of 1.51 grams per ton (g/t) gold starting at a depth of six meters.

It also defined a series of strong resistive anomalies at Sinter. One of which will be the initial target for Logan drilling.

The Maui Wash target lies in the southeastern portion of the Brik claim block, 1.5 kilometers south of Hidden Treasure.

Liberty Gold drilled two RC holes here, intersecting several intervals of anomalous gold. One penetrated a 1.2-meter intercept with an average grade of 0.41 g/t gold at a depth of 91 metres.

Logan also has a 20% carried interest in the Gorilla Lake uranium property and  a 100% interest in the Redford iron ore property on Vancouver Island, Canada - a former producing iron ore mine.

Shares in Toronto were unchanged at $0.075.
