Golden Saint Resources highlights progress in Sierra Leone

Golden Saint is planning on expanding bulk sampling rates alongside its other exploration work.

Bulk processing work is underway

Golden Saint Resources Ltd (LON:GSR) highlighted in its interim results statement the company’s progress with its assets in Sierra Leone.

In the results’ outlook statement, the company said: “moving towards proving up inferred resources on the three license areas in Sierra Leone, the company is planning on expanding bulk sampling rates in the alluvial diamond and gold areas in parallel to other exploration activities.”

During the six months ended June 30, the company processed bulk sampling results for the Tongo and the Baja licence. It also advanced a new competent persons report in the half.

In terms of its interim results, the company reported a US$891,000 comprehensive loss for the period, narrower than the US$1.07mln loss in the same period of the previous year.
