NQ Minerals signs off-take agreement with Traxys to cover first five years of production from Hellyer

The deal also gives NQ access to Traxys's extensive international networks

The Hellyer project

NQ Minerals PLC (LON:NQMI) has signed a marketing and off-take agreement with Traxys, the global commodities trader.

The deal comes a week after NQ Minerals shipped its first concentrate from the Hellyer mine in Tasmania to Traxys, and follows on from an earlier off-take deal signed in August.

The marketing and offtake agreement relates to the sale of all the precious metal and pyrite concentrate to be produced from Hellyer Project and covers the first 5 years of concentrate production.

The agreement includes the facility for prepayment against concentrate deliveries and provides Hellyer with access to Traxys's extensive global network and experienced marketing and distribution team.

"This agreement completes our marketing arrangements for the Hellyer project and reinforces the strong partnership NQ Minerals has developed with Traxys,” said NQ non-executive chairman  Brian Stockbridge.
