MinRex is actively exploring Deflector utilising surface soil, auger and rock sampling and geological mapping to identify buried mineralised structures.
Several surface sampling programs have been completed to date.
A total of 594 soil samples, 566 rock samples and 185 auger drill samples have now been collected within the tenement area.
The best rock sampling results are from an area, now known as Corner Creek, where a number of anomalous surface rock assay were identified ranging up to 2.9 g/t gold.
Exploration aimed at identifying drill targets
The results from this latest exploration and sampling program are still being collated and analysed
Once all of the requisite surveys and approvals are obtained, it is anticipated that a shallow aircore drilling program will be conducted.
Drilling will target the most anomalous areas for gold and base metals.
