Enertopia expects four drill holes to provide an inaugural lithium resource

Enertopia Corp (CSE:TOP) (OTCMKTS:ENRT) said Friday that a drilling team has been sent to begin work at the company’s lithium project in Clayton Valley, Nevada.

The Kelowna, British Columbia-based company said in a press release that a diamond drill rig will run 24 hours a day until the planned five holes are completed, likely before the holiday season.

The company expects the five diamond drills to total 1,500 to 2,000 feet. Four drill holes will allow it to provide an inaugural 43-101 project-wide lithium resource, Enertopia added, referring to a mining industry standard of disclosure.

A fifth diamond drill hole will be drilled to an estimated depth of 350 feet, with the recovered lithium-enriched material to be used for metallurgical and pH solution testing, according to the company.

''We look forward to providing drilling program updates via Skype if possible, dependent on the internet connection, as drilling progresses,” CEO Robert McAllister said in a statement.

Shares of Enertopia traded at C$0.03 in Thursday’s Canadian trading. They were at US$0.02 on the OTC Markets.
